Annual Fund

The Gardner School operates on a 90/10 split to cover education costs. This means that the tuition families pay covers 90 percent of the total cost of our children’s education at the school. The remaining 10 percent is paid in the form of a tax-free donation to the Annual Fund to cover the balance of the direct costs of educating our children.

The school depends on the Fund for operating costs. The Annual fund helps cover everything from the salaries for our excellent teachers and staff to paying the utility bills. It also enables parents to deduct 10% of our childrens’ education costs from our taxes each year.

Please join in supporting this year’s Annual Fund with a gift that equals at least 10% of your 2009/10 cost of education. The recommended 10% amounts for families this school year are as follows:

Mazama I: $350 Mazama II: $450 Mazama III: $750
Kalama: $1100 Loowit/Wy’East: $1450 Klickitat/Tahoma: $1500

Payments can be submitted at any time before May 1st 2010. Checks may be dropped off in the front office at school.

If credit card payment is easier or preferred, payments can be made easily through a payment portal available on this web site at:
https://gardnerschool.ejoinme.org/MyPages/AnnualGiving/tabid/91505/Default.aspx Please note that credit card payment may be made in full or in monthly installments! Several families have opted to spread their contribution out over several months via the web portal – this can be a great way to even out the payment and maybe get some airline miles or cash back on those cards!

Thank you in advance for your contribution to the school and for your support of Gardner and the exceptional education our children receive. Please don’t hesitate to contact Matt Wood at annualfund@gardnerschoo.org if you have any questions at all about our Annual Fund.
