Sandy Akers

Kalama (Kindergarten) assistant

Sandy Akers is a native of Clark county. She married her husband in 1974 and has three children and three grandchildren. She joined the Gardner School staff as a preschool support specialist in 1999 and has been employed with the school ever since. Sandy currently works in Kindergarten. She has shared her gifts while assisting in other classes when needed. Sandy recently said, “Being in the Gardner Community has taught me so much about myself, the most important is how working with young minds is so rewarding.” Sandy enjoys sewing, camping, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
